Have this insert installed by an avionics shop if you do not have
all the proper tools, are not a qualified technician or are not sure
you are capable of doing this job. |

If your faceplate does not need painting go
to #7. Use tape to mask the knobs and the clear faceplate lens. |

Fill any dents with a plastic auto body filler
(Bondo) or similar material. |
| 4. |
Lightly sand smooth with a fine grit sandpaper for good paint adhesion. |

Paint the faceplate with a quality paint such as Krylon'sŪ 1613
Semi-Flat Black paint. If you want a silver border around the outer rim use a Testors' silver paint stick. They are found in most hobby stores. |

Remove the protective tape around the knobs
and lens. |
| 7. |
Remove the old insert. |
| 8. |
Remove the double face tape backing from the new insert. |
| 9. |
Place the new inserts onto faceplate. |
| 10. |
Tell all your aircraft buddies about Aircraft Engravers and place the enclosed sticker on the metal case for future
reference. |
