Have this insert installed by an avionics shop if you do not have
all the proper tools, are not a qualified technician or are not sure
you are capable of doing this job. |

Remove your faceplate from radio. |

Sand off the top painted surface of the old faceplate. This will provide
the necessary illumination of text for the replacement faceplate insert.
Be careful not to scratch the lenses. These can be taped if necessary. |

Remove the double-face tape backing from the new insert. |
| 5. |
Place the new insert onto the faceplate lightly to align as best as
possible. Press firmly to secure it. |
| 6. |
To stop any light from bleeding out the edges or holes,
carefully apply some black paint around these edges. Use a Testor'sŪ black paint stick or similar brand found in most hobby stores. |

Reinstall faceplate on the radio. |
| 8. |
Re-install all the knobs onto the radio. |
| 9. |
Tell all your aircraft buddies about
